To the delight of our community’s kids, Aileen and Jimmy McDonald hosted this year’s fishing derby. The weather was perfect, the fish were biting, there were plenty of bagels and munchies, and everyone had a great time. (Just check out the smiles on their faces.) Carissa Arras caught the most fish (19), with Zoey Kaplan (15) and James McDonald (10) close behind. The longest fish was caught by Chloe. But all of the attending kids took home fun prizes.
